Since I challenged our church family to be bold in our generosity, I thought it would be helpful to share specifically how those resources are being used at Grace Baptist Church. It’s very important for you to have confidence that your resources are being used wisely and effectively to further God’s kingdom.

The Macedonian church was an impoverished church that still gave generously and boldly to the church in Jerusalem. We can see in 2 Corinthians 8 that they were not motivated by guilt or fear, but by grace. What motivates your giving? Is it guilt? Duty? Is your giving motivated by grace?

We can pray boldly from great power. We have a God who can and wants to do far more abundantly than all we can ask or think. God is manifesting His great power through us today. The power that split the Red Sea, that sent fire from heaven, and that raised Christ from the dead now resides inside of us. It is a life-transforming power.
