When and Where?

Sunday mornings at the Welcome Center

About the Welcome Team

The Welcome Center is often the first place a new visitor to Grace will go. And sometimes a Welcome Team member will be the only person they talk to. That is why the Welcome Team is very important for connecting new visitors to the body of Christ. We seek to help guests any way we can so that they feel loved and welcomed when they first come to Grace.

What a Welcome Team member does:

  • Greets and welcomes visitors with a smile
  • Collects visitor's information via the Welcome Card
  • Guides visitors to classrooms, nurseries, restrooms, etc.
  • Hands out first and second-time gifts
  • Guides vistors to the Connection Wall for information about small groups and ministries
  • Wears an awesome Welcome Team shirt!

Level of Commitment

Welcome Team duties are usually once every 6 weeks. You will be notified of your schedule in advance.

Shift One

8:50am - 10:15am

Shift Two

10:15am - 12:15pm

Welcome Callers

We want to make sure our visitors don't feel as if we forgot about them. Welcome Callers are the ones who follow up with visitors to see if they will be returning or if they have found a ministry to get connected to. If you love talking to people, you would make a perfect caller! If talking to strangers isn't your thing, there are plenty of opportunities to work behind the scenes organizing and assigning calls.
